Electric drill, lump hammer and Arduino micro-controller

Programmed to activate at random intervals, a DIY electric drill is connected to a bungee cord and lump hammer. As the drill activates, the cord twists, the hammer is drawn up the wall before un-twisting and smashing the wall to pieces

One of a number of works developed during a residency at LoBe Gallery, Berlin. The results were exhibited in a two-person exhibition with artist Antonia Low
